Friends, Dred and I went to Anawangin, Zambales last weekend. The place reminds me of "The Beach" movie -- relaxed, worry-free living. Through the mini forest before the seashore are two brackish streams where you can cool down after a hot saltwater dip in the beach. The trees' leaves served as gobos against the 12 noon sun.

Tom, with his Nikon d40, and I went nature shooting on these streams (with him soaking his wallet and his new cellphone along the way --haha!). Caught this ant running around this small twig. The sun's ray served as its spotlight. I was quite surprised of the bokeh here to the point that it looked like I blurred the background in Photoshop (which I didn't :p).
